Answers Bible Curriculum was developed to present the gospel, beginning in Genesis, to all generations; to train believers to know, obey, and defend God’s Word; and to encourage believers to become conformed to the image of Christ.
Unit Goal:
Kids learn the New Testament is true & reliable as well as more about the beginning of Jesus' life on earth.
Memory Verses:
Isaiah 7:14 TLB right then, the Lord himself will choose the sign - a child shall be born to a virgin! And she shall call him Immanuel (meaning "God with us").
John 1:14 ESV And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Key teaching points of this WEEKS lesson:
December 14th:
Christ Is Born - The Creator of the universe humbly took on flesh.
Jesus, the King of kings, was born in Bethlehem and laid in a manger. His birth was first announced to shepherds rather than to important leaders. Who would have thought that the Creator God would enter the world this way? But Jesus chose to come quietly and humbly to save his people from their sins.
Memory Verse:
John 1:14 - And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
