Steven grew up Jewish, but grew consistently disillusioned with how to practice his faith. During a time when his marriage was failing, he was unexpectedly invited to attend Hope Church. What he found, warm and inviting people, really attracted him to check out more.

Each encounter with a church service or a member helped Steven see that a) each person is at a different place in their spiritual journey, b) God was specifically trying to get his attention, and c) Christ provides a path back to God for flawed people.
