From the moment your preschooler arrives, he or she can be engaged in building with blocks, setting up a dollhouse, creating crafts, putting puzzles together, or playing catch! Our teaching style will put your child at ease and keep him or her actively engaged through large group story time and small group learning centers, designed especially with preschoolers in mind!

What Has My Child Learned
Today your child learned that we can help others learn about God with our kind actions. Children heard how Naaman was healed when he followed the advice of kind friends and servants. Children discovered that they can be kind to others every day.
Questions to Ask Your Child
How did Naaman's friends help him? What happened to Naaman when he went to see Elisha? What kind actions can our family do this week?
Memory Verse - April 26th:
"Tell everyone the good news about Jesus." (adapted from Mark 16:15).

Jesus Helped His Disciples
Simon Peter, John, and some other disciples fished in the Sea of Galilee all night. They did not catch any fish. When the sun came up, they saw a man standing on the shore. He asked, "Did you catch any fish?"
The disciples said, "No." The man told them to put their net down on the right side of the boat. The disciples did what he said. When they tried to pull the net into the boat, it was so full of fish that it was too heavy for them to lift!
John said, "That man is Jesus!" Simon Peter was so excited, he jumped into the water and swam to shore. The other men followed in the boat, pulling the net full of fish.
When they reached land, they saw fish cooking on a fire and some bread. Jesus told them to bring some of their fish. Simon Peter pulled the net onto land. There were 153 fish!
"Come, eat breakfast with me," Jesus said. He gave each man bread and fish.
After they had eaten breakfast, Jesus asked Simon Peter, "Do you love me?"
Simon said "Yes, you know that I love you." Jesus asked Simon Peter the same thing two more times. Each time Simon Peter said that he loved Jesus. Jesus told Simon Peter to tell others that Jesus loves them. Jesus told Simon Peter, "Follow me."

Jesus helped people learn about him.
Weekly Verse - April 26th
Tell people about Jesus. Matthew 28:19
Jesus Taught Two Men
Two men were walking on the road to the village called Emmaus (eh MAY uhs). The men were talking about everything that had happened.
As then walked, a man joined them. This man was Jesus, but the men did not recognize him. Jesus asked the men, "What are you talking about?"
One of the men, Cleopas (KLEE oh puhs), said, "You must be the only one who does not know what has been happening in Jerusalem." Cleopas and the other man began to tell Jesus about the events. "Jesus died on a cross. Three days later some women went to the tomb. The tomb was empty. An angel said that he was alive!"
Jesus told the two men what the Scriptures said about him.
As they came near Emmaus, the men asked him to stay with them. He did. The men still did not know he was Jesus. As they sat at the table, Jesus took bread, gave thanks, and broke it to share with the men. Then the men knew it was Jesus sitting at their table. The Jesus was gone.
The men quickly returned to Jerusalem to find the disciples. They told them everything that had happened and how they had seen Jesus. They said, "It is true! Jesus is alive!"
